The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion.

Your responsibilities will include

• Supporting service users with daily living and personal care where required.
• Promoting independence, life skills, and community participation.
• Implementing person-centred support plans.
• Supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge using positive approaches.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate records and following HIQA standards and best practice.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

• Active CORU registration/application is highly appreciated, but not essential.
• Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working within social care settings.

Rates of Pay

• €17 – €35.5 per hour
• Premium Sunday Rates Available
