Audit Manager.

My client is seeking an ambitious and experienced audit professional to join their growing Audit & Assurance team in Athlone. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to Irish subsidiaries of multinational organisations.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality audit and advisory services while developing strong client relationships. You will work closely with the leadership team, gaining significant exposure to strategic client engagements and opportunities to contribute to the continued growth of the firm.

Responsibilities include

• Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and management of audit teams, providing structured coaching and mentorship to junior staff to support their professional growth.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and successful completion of audit assignments, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality service.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
• Ensure all assignments are delivered in accordance with agreed client deliverables, quality standards, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Partners to support the continued growth and development of services delivered across the client portfolio.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant ACA / ACCA with at least 2 years PQE
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly organised with strong project management capabilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service.
• Motivated to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing environment.
