Audit Senior.

Our client, a reputable and established accountancy practice in Mullingar, has an immediate opening for an Audit Senior to join their team. This opening is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with at least 2 years’ experience in Irish practice who’s looking to take the next step in their audit career.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering audits for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
• Planning and completing audit engagements in line with professional standards.
• Guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical, value-added advice.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant .
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a practice-based audit role.
• Strong technical understanding of audit and accounting standards .
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar audit software (advantageous but not essential).
