Kerry and surrounding areas Sector Water and wastewater treatment Positions Multiple Salary From €40,000, dependent on experience Contract Permanent, full time Permit Employment permit sponsorship available for the right candidate About the role Designing, commissioning and supporting control systems on water and wastewater treatment plant, covering PLC and SCADA work from the panel through to site handover. What you will be doing PLC programming, modification and fault finding on treatment plant control systems SCADA and HMI configuration, including screens, alarms and trending Panel testing, factory acceptance testing and site commissioning Instrumentation set up and calibration across flow, level, pressure and water quality Integrating pumps, blowers, dosing systems and telemetry into the wider control philosophy Producing and updating functional design specifications and as built documentation Supporting plant already in service, including callouts and remote diagnostics Working to site health and safety requirements at all times What you need Experience in automation or control systems engineering on water or wastewater treatment plant Hands on PLC programming, for example Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider or Mitsubishi SCADA or HMI configuration experience Able to read and work from P and IDs, electrical schematics and functional specifications Comfortable commissioning on live sites and working with operations staff Full driving licence, as the role covers sites across the region Good standard of English, written and spoken Wastewater treatment experience is essential for this role. A qualification in electrical, automation, instrumentation or control engineering is expected. What we offer Permanent, direct employment with the hiring company.
