Role Overview
We are looking for Chartered Clinical Psychologists, Chartered Educational Psychologists and Chartered Counselling Psychologists with experience in psychological assessments and ideally Autism Diagnostic (ADOS) assessments. You will work with children and adolescents presenting with developmental, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioural functioning.
- Perform Autism Diagnostic Assessments (ADOS) within a multidisciplinary team where appropriate
- Develop individualised plans based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech & language therapists, and educational psychologists .
- Provide consultation and support to parents and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional and ethical standards .
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and CPD activities .
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject and have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology or an equivalent qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health, Ireland
- PSI Chartered Psychologist registration.
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience with children and adolescents.
- ADOS training and experience desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
