Requirements of the Chef de Partie

• One to two years experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef
• Culinary qualification or equivalent professional kitchen experience
• Good understanding of HACCP and food-safety procedures
• Strong preparation, organisation and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team
• Consistent standards of food presentation and personal hygiene
• Professional communication skills
• Experience with menu planning or food costing is an advantage
• Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Ireland, as employment-permit sponsorship is unavailable

Responsibilities of the Chef de Partie

• Prepare and present fresh dishes to consistently high standards
• Manage your assigned kitchen section during preparation and service
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation guidelines
• Maintain excellent HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards
• Complete temperature checks and daily food-safety records
• Check and store food deliveries safely
• Assist with menu planning, food costing and stock control
• Help reduce food waste and protect kitchen margins
• Support stocktakes and food ordering when required
• Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
• Help maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
