Excel recruitment are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for a busy supermarket in Ratoath, Co. Meath.

This is a great opportunity for a strong retail supervisor or manager who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on more responsibility.

Salary: €38,000 – €40,000

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day running of the store while on duty
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Support with stock, deliveries, merchandising and availability
• Manage cash handling and till procedures
• Ensure excellent standards across the shop floor
• Support staff training and development
• Maintain food safety, health & safety and store procedures

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous supermarket, grocery, convenience or high-volume retail experience
• Experience at Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainee Manager or Supervisor level
• Confident managing a team and running shifts
• Strong operational and customer service skills
• Hands-on, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment
• Looking for progression within grocery retail
