Belfast Health and Social Care Trust requires ST3+ Emergency Medicine locum cover across the Royal Victoria Hospital and Mater Infirmorum Hospital Emergency Departments through the second half of October 2026. Shifts can be taken individually or as a block.

• Royal Victoria Hospital ED: approximately 38 shifts between 13th and 31st October, with day shifts 08:00-16:00 / 08:00-17:00 / 10:00-18:00, middle shifts 13:00-21:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 14:30-22:30, and late shifts 16:00-00:00. Weekend demand is heaviest on 17th/18th, 24th/25th and 30th/31st October.
• Mater Infirmorum Hospital ED: 6 shifts on 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st October, 08:00-16:00 and 14:00-22:00.
• Full shift list available on request.
• Must be ST3+ in Emergency Medicine or equivalent middle-grade experience.
• Able to run the shop floor in a major Emergency Department, supervising junior staff and managing resus and majors independently.
• Willingness to cover a mix of days, middle and late shifts across both sites, including weekends.
