Belfast Trust has a large volume of Emergency Department and SDEC middle grade locum cover available between now and the start of December. Shifts are allocated across both the Royal Victoria and Mater Infirmorum sites, and can be taken individually or as blocks.
- Very high volume of shifts across the period – 7th October to 1st December 2026
- Typical shift patterns: 08:00 – 16:00, 08:00 – 17:00, 13:00 – 21:00, 14:00 – 22:30 and 16:00 – 00:00
- Both weekday and weekend cover required, with particularly heavy weekend demand through October and November
- Middle grade / registrar level experience in Emergency Medicine required
- Work spans main ED and the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit
