The Emergency Departments at the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Mater Infirmorum Hospital have a substantial run of SHO-grade locum shifts from mid-October through to the start of December.
- Around 32 shifts in total across the two ED sites
- Day shifts, 08:00 – 17:00 and 08:00 – 16:00
- Afternoon and evening shifts, 13:00 – 21:00, 14:00 – 22:00 and 16:00 – 00:00
- Night shifts, 22:00 – 08:30
- Good coverage of weekends as well as weekdays, with the heaviest demand mid-to-late October
- SHO-grade doctor at F2, ST or GP trainee level
- Previous Emergency Department experience and the ability to work unsupervised shop-floor shifts, including nights
