Electrical Quantity Surveyor.

Due to continued success, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start.

Location: Dublin West – Office Based Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm | Friday – Early Finish

The role in a nutshell

You will be responsible for managing the commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of electrical projects from tender through to completion.

Main responsibilities include

• · Prepare estimates, budgets, BOQs, and tender submissions for electrical works.
• · Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and manage procurement.
• · Monitor project costs, valuations, cash flow, and cost-value reconciliation.
• · Manage variations, claims, subcontractor accounts, and final accounts.
• · Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and cost-control documentation.
• · Review electrical drawings, specifications, materials, and installation requirements.
• · Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
• · Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams.

The ideal candidate will have the following

• · Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction economics, or a related field.
• · Experience in electrical, MEP, or building services projects.
• · Strong knowledge of estimating, measurement, procurement, cost control, and contract administration.
• · Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS/commercial software.
