Head of Finance.

Working with Private Equity backed FMCG Company with turnover 160 million and 100 employees who are looking for a Head of Finance. This role reports into the Managing Director and will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, overseeing all financial reporting and statutory compliance. This role would suit someone who can provide high-level finance insights while ensuring the fundamental accounting engine runs flawlessly. Other responsibilities include:

• Lead the financial reporting function, overseeing the full month?end close to deliver accurate, timely reporting
• Produce performance and variance analysis, offering strategic insights to support data?driven decision?making
• Manage the consolidation of US sites
• Oversee balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance and internal controls
• Design, enhance and standardise processes, driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement
• Line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants and coordinate the wider team
• Support annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Support statutory year?end audits

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience leading a management accounts team
• Someone has worked in fast paced in environment like a private equity backed company
