Location: Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo Pay Rates: €14.15–€20 per hour with enhanced night rates and premium Sunday rates

We are currently seeking an experienced healthcare assistant to join a nursing home team in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated healthcare assistant with experience in Irish healthcare who is looking for regular, ongoing work. The ideal healthcare assistant will be compassionate, reliable and confident working in a busy care environment.

Role Requirements

• QQI Level 5 qualification.
• Previous experience working as a healthcare assistant in an Irish healthcare setting is essential.
• Nursing home experience is highly desirable.
• Experience providing personal care and supporting residents with complex care needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional and dependable approach.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
• Commitment to providing person-centred care.
