Healthcare Assistant – Mayo.

Access is Healthcare is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in a residential care setting in Westport, Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by providing high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity at all times
• Follow individual care plans and contribute to their ongoing review
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Requirements

• QQI Level 5
• Previous experience in a residential or healthcare setting is desirable
• A genuine interest in caring for others, particularly older persons
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
