HGV Mechanics - Dublin West Dublin 12 Job purpose To provide first-class customer service and deliver high quality maintenance, service, fault diagnosis and repair of HGVs. Salary: From 41,600per year Key Responsibilities This role is expected to grow and evolve over time and whilst the key responsibilities for the role are outlined below they are not limited to same Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair of HGVs To carry out road testing and quality control inspections as required To complete all job-related paperwork in line with standards To work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues and customers To liaise with the Parts department in relation to supply of parts as required To adhere to correct working and Health and Safety policies and procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to Management To keep the working area clean and tidy Report faulty equipment promptly To participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company To undertake any other duties or activities as required Person specification As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate some experience within the Automotive industry, newly qualified will also be considered. You must have relevant experience and be a qualified HGV Technician. Essential Skills and Experience New Qualified HGV mechanics will be considered Main Dealer experience an advantage Electric vehicle training an advantage Strong focus on a positive Customer experience Proven ability to work independently and with minimum supervision Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints Strong relationship builder and team player Flexible and adaptable to change Problem solver with a solutions mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills PC literate Fluent English required Excellent attention to detail
