IT Support Engineer – Dublin 2 (Permanent).

TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our Financial Services Client in Dublin 2, is seeking applications for a Permanent IT Support Engineer role (Onsite).Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, full-time role for an IT Support Engineer based in Greater Dublin with our client in the Financial Services sector. The IT Support Engineer will handle daily tasks such as technical support, troubleshooting, system administration, and help desk support. Responsibilities include providing efficient technical assistance, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations in the office environment.Qualifications Technical Support and Help Desk Support experience Proficiency in Information Technology and System Administration Strong Troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Experience in a similar role is a plus Experience Required *Minimum of 4 years of IT Support Expertise - specifically with Server Support, Network Support. *Multi-Screen Workstation Support expertise *Flexible working hours required *SQL Server Administration expertise *Office 365 Administration expertise *High Availability technologies expertise - RAID/UPS *Experience in Systems Monitoring *Experience in Application Support and Hardware Support This is a full time permanent role - candidates must be currently eligible to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or Stamp 1/1G and/or EU Citizenship).
