Location: Tallaght, Dublin Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 DOE Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Junior Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy operations function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years' experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, fleet, customer service or a supervisory role who is looking to develop their leadership career.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of logistics, transport, fleet and warehouse operations
• Assist with transport scheduling, route planning and delivery coordination
• Support stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse activities
• Help coordinate and motivate operational teams
• Monitor operational performance, service levels and customer requirements
• Assist with health & safety compliance, audits and workplace inspections
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery
• Monitor operational costs and support cost-saving initiatives
• Assist with operational reporting, planning and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with customers, sales and internal teams to resolve operational issues

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience in an operations, logistics, warehouse, fleet or supervisory environment
• Experience supporting or supervising a team
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong customer-focused approach
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and operational systems
• Experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing or service operations is desirable

Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH qualification, fleet management or transport planning experience, and exposure to Lean or continuous improvement.
