About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team and support the commercial management of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level candidate looking to develop their career within the construction industry and gain valuable experience across a range of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of project costs and estimates.
- Support the preparation and submission of tender documentation.
- Assist with subcontractor and supplier procurement.
- Monitor project costs and budgets.
- Assist with valuations, variations and payment applications.
- Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
- Work closely with the Project and Commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline .
- Some relevant experience within the construction industry is desirable.
- Good understanding of construction processes and commercial principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
