Marketing Intern.

We are seeking a creative and organised Marketing Intern to support the marketing activities of a busy building construction company in Galway. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn how construction projects are promoted and help showcase the people and work behind the business.

Key responsibilities

• Create content for the company’s social media channels, website and marketing materials.
• Support search engine optimisation (SEO) by researching keywords, writing search-friendly content and updating page titles and descriptions.
• Help monitor website traffic and social media performance, and suggest ways to improve engagement.
• Gather project updates, photographs and testimonials from colleagues and site teams.
• Help produce case studies that highlight completed projects and company achievements.
• Support the planning and promotion of events and exhibitions.
• Assist with email campaigns, presentations and other promotional materials.
• Monitor social media engagement and help identify ways to improve the company’s online presence.
• Work with the wider team to ensure marketing content is accurate, professional and consistent with the company’s brand.

Skill, education and Experience

• Currently studying, or recently graduated in, marketing, communications, business or a related field.
• A strong writer and communicator with an eye for detail.
• Comfortable using social media and interested in creating engaging content.
• Organised, proactive and able to work with people across different teams.
• Interested in construction, property or the built environment.
• Familiarity with Canva, photography or basic video editing would be an advantage, but is not essential.

This internship offers practical marketing experience in a varied role, with support from an experienced team and the chance to build a portfolio of real project work.
