About the Role

The Person in Charge holds overall responsibility for the leadership, governance and regulatory compliance of designated services, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred supports.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, drive continuous improvement and ensure services remain inspection-ready while supporting individuals to live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated services

• Ensure HIQA compliance

• Manage governance and quality

• Lead multidisciplinary teams

• Manage safeguarding, incidents and risks

• Develop staff

• Oversee budgets and resources

• Drive continuous improvement

Essential

• A relevant health or social care qualification

• QQI Level 5 (essential)

• A QQI Level 6 Management Qualification (or equivalent)

• QQI Level 7 (preferred)

• Management experience in disability or social care services

• Experience in HIQA-regulated environments

• A proven ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality, person-centred care
