Job Title: Personal Lines Broker Location: Drogheda Working Model: Hybrid

Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Personal Lines Broker to join our client, an established insurance brokerage based in Drogheda. This role will involve managing both existing and new business across Personal Lines, providing clients with advice and support throughout the insurance lifecycle.

The successful candidate will manage renewals, policy amendments and new business while building strong relationships with clients and insurance providers. Your Role

• Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients across existing business, renewals and new business.
• Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments and general client queries.
• Review renewal terms, policy wordings and endorsements to ensure appropriate cover is in place.
• Compare available insurance options and provide clients with suitable coverage recommendations.
• Negotiate with insurance providers to secure competitive terms and appropriate solutions for clients.
• Take ownership of client cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance providers.
• Ensure all activity is completed in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Your Skills

• Previous experience within Personal Lines or a similar General Insurance environment, ideally with 2-3 years’ relevant experience.
• CIP qualified or currently working towards the qualification.
• Strong Personal Lines product knowledge with a client-focused approach.
• Experience using Relay insurance software is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management ability.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and report preparation.
• Proactive and motivated, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
