Portfolio Product Lead – AI.

Our client, a global Healthcare organisation, are hiring an experienced Portfolio Product Lead with expertise in AI to join their team remotely on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will lead and shape a portfolio of AI initiatives, with a strong focus on identifying high-value opportunities, setting priorities and driving initiatives from concept through to successful delivery and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with wider business priorities.
• Develop and manage the AI portfolio roadmap, balancing strategic objectives, business value and delivery priorities.
• Translate business challenges and opportunities into clearly defined AI initiatives and product priorities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to establish priorities, build alignment and drive effective decision-making.
• Collaborate across product, technology, data, AI and business teams to move initiatives from concept through to delivery and adoption.
• Define clear objectives, success measures and expected business outcomes across the AI portfolio.
• Track portfolio performance, dependencies, risks and value realisation, adjusting priorities where required.

Skillset

• Proven experience leading and delivering AI or data-driven initiatives within a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of AI from a strategic, product and business perspective, rather than requiring deep technical expertise.
• Experience developing product roadmaps, managing competing priorities and overseeing a portfolio of initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging and aligning senior stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to connect AI opportunities to business value and measurable outcomes.
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams spanning business, product, technology, data and AI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business language for non-technical audiences.
