Process Engineer (Permanent) Location: South Dublin/Wicklow Job Type: Permanent Salary: €60,000 Essential – 4 years Process Engineering experience Overview Our client are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to support a high-volume, fully automated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on process development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production processes and equipment within the assigned area. You will play a key role in driving efficiency, innovation, and quality across manufacturing operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Develop, design, and evaluate manufacturing equipment and processes, including innovative fixture and jig design with scalability in mind Become the subject matter expert for assigned processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma and project management methodologies Identify problem areas and opportunities, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to implement solutions Support Quality activities including non-conformances, customer complaints, and CAPA investigations Liaise with external equipment manufacturers and suppliers on design and development of equipment and fixtures Manage projects related to product and equipment development Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, including risk assessments Partner with R&D teams to provide Design for Manufacture (DFM) input on new product development Support operations by optimising existing processes to meet production and engineering targets Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience in process engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline Strong background in process optimisation and Design of Experiments (DOE) Experience with high-speed automation environments Desirable Skills Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex) Knowledge of pick-and-place operations and form-fill-seal processes Experience in test equipment fixture design and technical documentation If you’re interested and would like to know more, send your CV to [email protected] to apply.
