About this role
Procurement Project Specialist – (€280/Daily)
- Long Term Day Rate Contract with high likelihood of extension
- Hybrid working – 2-days on-site
- Join a major €30M national fibre infrastructure project
- Turn complex tenders into decisions you can stand behind
Three supplier bids land. One is cheapest, but excludes work the project needs. Another looks complete until you examine the terms. You spot the gaps, challenge the assumptions and work out which offer genuinely stacks up. That’s where good procurement makes the difference.
You’ll put that judgement to work on a €30M national fibre programme connecting Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Wexford and New Ross. From civils contractors and third-party duct access to fibre deployment and specialist services, you’ll handle the procurement packages needed to build the network.
Working with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams, you’ll shape requirements, take tenders to market, assess competing proposals and negotiate agreements. You’ll have the detail in front of you, the scope to challenge what doesn’t add up and a direct role in recommending which suppliers get appointed.
The satisfaction comes when the figures, scope and terms all stack up — and you can explain exactly why your recommended deal is the right one for the project.
