Procurement Project Specialist – (€280/Daily)

Some procurement roles keep you in one category. This one spans third-party duct access, civils contractors and specialist fibre services — each with its own supplier market, requirements and commercial trade-offs.

On a €30M national fibre programme connecting Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Wexford and New Ross, you’ll take procurement packages from defined requirement through to supplier appointment.

Working with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams, you’ll shape scopes, test the market, evaluate bids and negotiate terms.

You’ll broaden your procurement expertise while seeing how each contract contributes to one tangible goal: building a national fibre network.

What You’ll Do

• Turn engineering requirements into tender-ready scopes
• Identify suitable suppliers for each package
• Manage RFQs and RFPs through evaluation
• Compare bids, exclusions, pricing and contract terms
• Challenge assumptions and negotiate supplier terms
• Recommend suppliers for approval and contract award

What You’ll Have

• Recent experience in a procurement-focused role
• Experience managing tenders through evaluation and award
• Confident assessing supplier capability, pricing and terms
• Comfortable working with project and senior stakeholders
• Infrastructure, construction, utilities or telecoms experience helpful
