Production Manager.

Kerry and surrounding areas Sector Water and wastewater treatment Positions Multiple Salary From €40,000, dependent on experience Contract Permanent, full time Permit Employment permit sponsorship available for the right candidate About the role Running day to day production and plant performance on water and wastewater treatment operations, with responsibility for output, compliance and the team on the ground. What you will be doing Managing daily production and plant performance against agreed targets Leading and developing the operations and maintenance team, including shift planning and cover Monitoring process performance and adjusting operation to hold treated water quality within consent Making sure sampling, testing and reporting are completed on time and recorded correctly Planning maintenance around production so downtime is kept to a minimum Managing chemicals, consumables and spares, and raising purchase requirements Driving continuous improvement in efficiency, energy use and process stability Owning health, safety and environmental compliance on site, including permits and incident reporting Reporting performance to senior management and to the client where required What you need Proven production, plant or operations management experience in water or wastewater treatment Solid understanding of treatment processes and of the discharge consents that govern them Track record of leading a team and holding output and quality targets Comfortable with planned maintenance, compliance reporting and site health and safety Full driving licence, as the role covers sites across the region Good standard of English, written and spoken Wastewater treatment experience is essential for this role. A qualification in engineering, environmental science or a related discipline is expected. What we offer Permanent, direct employment with the hiring company.
