Production Operator.

The Role

Hartley People Recruitment are seeking a Production Operator on behalf of a well-established global company within the premium pet care industry based in Waterford.

Working as part of the production team, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient day-to-day manufacturing and production of high-quality pet care products within a busy and quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities will include operating production equipment, preparing and handling materials, completing production tasks in line with company procedures, and ensuring products meet required quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work area, following Health & Safety and hygiene procedures, completing relevant production documentation, and supporting the wider production team as required.

The Person

• Previous experience as a Production Operator or within a manufacturing/production environment would be an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on production environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures within the workplace.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Ability to follow production procedures and instructions accurately.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative.
• Flexible approach with a willingness to support different areas of production when required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
