Assembly Production Supervisor

Our Client is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor – Assembly to join their Operations team in Monaghan.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for coordinating day-to-day assembly activities, leading and developing the production team, and ensuring that safety, quality, productivity and delivery standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Assembly team on a day-to-day basis.
• Plan and allocate people and resources to meet production requirements.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability.
• Monitor production performance and address issues affecting output or delivery.
• Coach and develop team members and support performance and attendance management.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Stores to resolve production issues.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the Assembly area.

Experience, Skills Required

• Experience within a manufacturing, production or assembly environment.
• Previous supervisory, team leadership or people-management experience.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a production team.
• Experience of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement would be an advantage.
