Production Team Lead (2 Shift Cycle).

Hartley People Recruitment are working closely with our trusted client to recruit an experienced Food Production Team Lead to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role within a growing and dynamic business

Due to continued expansion across mainland Europe, this position is available immediately for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production activities across a 2-shift cycle, ensuring all operations run in line with production schedules and quality standards
• Supervise the receipt and processing of raw materials, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality procedures
• Monitor and maintain production equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to hygiene and safety standards
• Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, finished products, and packaging
• Maintain accurate production records including batch numbers, product codes, and output volumes
• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Train, support, and supervise production staff, driving high performance and adherence to best practices
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation standards are consistently met across all shifts
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a food production or processing environment, ideally in a leadership or supervisory capacity
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and food safety regulations
• Experience operating and troubleshooting production machinery
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow and enforce procedures
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Ability to work a rotating 2-shift cycle, including evenings and weekends.
