Project/Senior – Mechanical Engineer.

We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware Project / Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Building Services Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial and public sector developments.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from – concept design and feasibility studies through to tender, construction, commissioning and project handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable and technically robust mechanical building services solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and client service.

Key Areas of Impact

• Lead and support the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from inception to completion.
• Develop engineering solutions that balance technical excellence, sustainability, value engineering and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, structural engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare and review mechanical designs, calculations, technical specifications and tender documentation.
• Monitor project progress, quality standards, commissioning activities and site installations.
• Contribute to project planning, resource management and budget performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards and the Company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services design consultancy or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and associated building services systems.
• Experience managing projects through design, tender and construction stages.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
