We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Development Manager to join our client’s team in Charleville. This is a key position responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth across our clients’ range of building materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, proven sales experience, and the ability to build lasting partnerships with trade professionals and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets within the region.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with builders, contractors, developers, and other trade customers.
• Manage existing customer accounts to ensure customer excellence, repeat business, and loyalty.
• Work closely with branch and commercial teams to coordinate pricing, stock availability, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare sales reports and performance updates for management.
• Location requires starting or ending each day in the Charleville branch and attending a weekly meeting in Charleville with the management team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or business development within the building materials, construction supply, or related trade
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in the field.
