Senior Construction Recruitment Consultant.

Are you an experienced recruiter with a strong network across the construction industry? Do you have the expertise to recruit from site level through to senior management, directors and C-suite executives? We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Senior Construction Recruitment Consultant to join an established recruitment business in Athy, Co. Kildare. This is an opportunity for a recruiter who knows the construction market, understands what makes great talent and can confidently manage high-level recruitment assignments from initial brief through to successful placement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across the construction sector, from operational and technical positions to senior management, director and C-suite appointments.
• Partner with clients to understand their hiring needs, business objectives and long-term talent requirements.
• Source, identify and engage high-calibre candidates through networking, direct search, referrals and market mapping.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior industry professionals and key decision-makers.
• Lead candidate assessments, interviews, shortlisting and offer negotiations.
• Develop existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Provide expert market insights, salary guidance and recruitment advice.
• Manage multiple assignments while delivering a professional, responsive service to clients and candidates.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience recruiting within the construction industry.
• A strong track record of recruiting across different levels of the construction market, particularly senior management, directors and C-suite executives.
• Experience managing senior or executive-level search assignments, including direct sourcing and candidate engagement.
• Proficiency in using LinkedIn as a candidate sourcing tool.
• Excellent networking, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to develop trusted client partnerships.
• A proactive, organised approach with the confidence to manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
