Service Technician.

Job Title: Service Technician Location: Limerick Salary: €30k-€35k Overview Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Service Technician for our client based in Limerick. Our client is a major supplier of tools, equipment, and support services to a wide range of industries across the UK and Ireland. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a broad range of equipment from heavy-duty machinery such as generators and lifting equipment to smaller tools used in everyday trade work. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and report any equipment faults that could impact safety or performance
• Conduct regular checks and audits to maintain quality standards
• Service, maintain, and inspect a range of equipment in line with established procedures
• Carry out minor repairs and assist in sourcing parts when required
• Ensure warranty-related repairs are identified and reported appropriately
• Complete testing procedures before equipment is returned to service
• Accurately record all work using internal systems and documentation
• Follow damage reporting procedures and highlight any issues
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and prepared to a high standard

Experience Required

• Experience in servicing or maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Confidence using computer systems
