We’re working exclusively with a highly regarded advisory firm in Ireland to appoint a Tax Director to join its growing team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working across a broad range of tax advisory matters, building trusted client relationships and playing a meaningful role in the direction and growth of a business.

If you’re currently operating at Director level, or are an ambitious Senior Tax Manager ready to take that next step, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

The Opportunity

You’ll take a leading role across the firm’s tax advisory offering, working with a diverse client base on complex, commercially focused tax matters. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your technical expertise to the table, develop client relationships and contribute to the continued success of the business.

The role will suit someone who enjoys variety, values direct client engagement and wants to apply their experience across the full spectrum of tax advisory work, rather than being restricted to a narrow specialism.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and delivering a broad range of tax advisory engagements.
• Providing commercially focused tax advice tailored to clients’ needs.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, building and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Supporting business development and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.
• Reviewing complex tax matters, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the development of the wider advisory business.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant experience in tax advisory, ideally at Director level or with a clear track record of readiness for promotion.
• A strong technical grounding across a broad range of tax matters, with the confidence to advise on diverse client requirements.
• The ability to translate complex tax issues into practical, commercially relevant advice.
• Strong client relationship management skills and a genuine interest in business development.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach and the confidence to operate at a senior level.
• A recognised professional tax or accountancy qualification.
