About this role
I am working with a well-established firm that requires a Tax Partner to lead and transform the firm’s tax offering. This is a dual-focus role: providing high-level technical consultancy to a diverse portfolio of SMEs and family businesses, while simultaneously acting as a key driver for firm growth. As a Partner in a small practice, you will be expected to be "the face of tax," providing leadership to a small team and offering strategic advice that goes beyond mere compliance.
- Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Deliver bespoke tax planning for clients, including succession planning, corporate restructurings, M&A due diligence, and wealth management.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure the seamless delivery of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, CGT, and CAT filings.
- Business Development: Proactively identify new fee-earning opportunities and lead the "onboarding" of new clients in the Dublin and greater Leinster area.
- Revenue Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for Revenue audits and interventions, ensuring the firm’s clients remain in good standing.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior tax seniors or trainees, fostering a culture of technical excellence and commercial awareness.
- Technical Updates: Keep the firm and its clients abreast of changes in the Finance Act and Irish tax legislation.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Ideally candidate will be CTA qualified and has worked in a small to medium-sized practice as Director or Partner level
