THE POSITION

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Strategy and Organisational Improvement is a newly created leadership appointment that will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s future. Working in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management Team and Board, the successful candidate will lead the delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear programmes of work, measurable outcomes and sustainable organisational capability.

This influential leadership role will drive organisation-wide strategic initiatives, organisational improvement and cross functional collaboration. Working across the organisation, the Director will strengthen strategic planning, organisational performance, governance and programme delivery while embedding a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and evidence-informed decision-making. The role will be instrumental in ensuring the organisation remains agile, resilient and well positioned to respond to an evolving policy, regulatory and funding environment

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading strategy, organisational development, transformation or organisational improvement within complex organisations. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience of delivering strategic change, leading organisation-wide initiatives and building high-performing, collaborative teams.

Candidates will demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, together with strong strategic and analytical capability, sound judgement and the ability to influence at executive and Board level. Above all, they will be motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children, young people and families.
