Financial Controller Location: North Dublin Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 + Bonus + Pension Sector: Energy About the Role Our client, an established energy company based in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance function. This is a key leadership role managing a team of 4, with responsibility for financial reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making at senior level. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and manage a team of 4
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Oversee cash flow management and treasury functions
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders
• Support senior management with financial insights for strategic planning
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally with people management experience
• Experience in the energy sector desirable but not essential
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of Irish GAAP/IFRS
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP)
