Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer.

Hartley People Recruitment in partnership with our client are hiring for a Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer in Dublin.

The client provides monthly, biannual, and annual servicing and maintenance for fire safety sprinkler systems across Ireland. They work with commercial and industrial customers to keep life safety systems compliant and fully operational.

You will carry out scheduled servicing, inspections, and minor repairs on fire sprinkler systems at customer sites nationwide. You will keep systems compliant with the relevant standards, such as IS EN 12845, LPCB, and NFPA where they apply.

This is a full time role with nationwide travel across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly, biannual, and annual servicing on fire sprinkler systems
• Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs on site
• Test valves, pumps, alarms, and other system components
• Complete accurate service reports and compliance documentation
• Keep systems compliant with IS EN 12845, LPCB, and NFPA standards where they apply
• Deal directly with customers in a professional and reassuring manner
• Travel to customer sites nationwide across Ireland, with occasional overnight stays
• Manage your own schedule and daily workload

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing fire sprinkler systems
• Strong working knowledge of sprinkler system standards and compliance requirements
• Full, clean driving licence
• Ability to work on your own initiative and manage your own schedule
• Comfortable with nationwide travel across Ireland, including occasional overnight stays
• Good communication skills and a professional manner with customers

Desirable Criteria

• A relevant trade or engineering qualification. Hands on experience matters more, so this is not essential
