About this role

Storm Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established business based in North Wicklow, for an experienced Operations & Logistics Supervisor. This is a hands-on supervisory role, working closely with the Managing Director to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. The position offers a strong mix of office-based duties and factory floor / warehouse involvement, ideal for a proactive and adaptable candidate who thrives in a busy environment. The Role Supervisory & Operational Responsibilities Plan daily workflows and ensure all staff understand daily priorities Provide hands-on operational support, including forklift work and machine operation when covering holidays or absences Prepare customer orders to specification Create delivery dockets using Sage Book inbound and outbound transport with logistics providers Organise and maintain an efficient warehouse layout Ensure safe, efficient working practices across all teams Manage and motivate Production and Warehouse Team Leaders Maintain high housekeeping standards across all operational and external areas Compliance, Systems & Reporting Schedule and manage preventative maintenance Maintain spare parts inventory and workshop housekeeping Oversee risk assessments, safety statements and staff training records Manage quality systems, including non-conformance reports and quality alerts Ensure compliance with EPA Waste Licence requirements (with environmental consultant support) Maintain site logs for incoming waste IBCs and drums Complete repack reporting and track customer warehousing Generate waste transfer forms and manage wastewater discharge logs The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in operations, logistics or warehouse supervision Strong people management and leadership skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Third-level qualification advantageous but not essential with relevant experience Full, clean driving licence What’s on Offer Competitive salary of €45,000 – €55,000, depending on experience Pension contribution (post-probation) Health insurance contribution (post-probation) Flexible working hours Opportunity to play a key role in a growing business If this role is of interest to you and you have the required experience, please apply with your CV to [email protected] You can also check out our other open jobs here
