What You’ll Do

• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily lives.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and community inclusion.
• Implement individual support plans and personal goals.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support safeguarding and relevant health and safety standards.

What You’ll Need

• Relevant Social Care qualification recognised by CORU.
• CORU registration or legally recognised eligibility to practise.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of person-centred care, safeguarding and relevant service standards.
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support individuals with differing needs and abilities.
• Commitment to promoting independence, inclusion and individual rights.
