In November we built the first version of IrishTalents on top of the employment permit records the Department of Enterprise publishes.

Search the companies that have held Irish employment permits

The company directory turned the official permit files into a list you can search by name and filter by city, by year and by how many permits a company received. You could sort it by name or by permit count. Each company card showed its total permits with a year by year history, and links to its website, its LinkedIn and other social pages, and its careers page when we could find one on the company's own site.

Permit statistics by sector, city and nationality

A statistics page showed, for any year you picked, how permits were spread across industries, the ten cities and the ten nationalities with the most permits, and a month by month view for each sector. That page has since been replaced by the employment permit directory, which covers the same official data with yearly and monthly breakdowns.

Official permit information in one place

The resources page gathered links to the Department of Enterprise pages for each permit type, including the Critical Skills and General Employment Permits, along with the Critical Skills Occupations List, the list of ineligible jobs and practical Citizens Information guides on healthcare and housing.
