Your own shortlist of companies

Sign in to save companies, a short profile at sign up, a board to track your applications, a page for every company and lists by city and industry.

In December IrishTalents gained accounts, so you could keep your own shortlist of companies and follow your applications to them.

Sign in and save companies

You could now create an account, save any company in the directory and filter the list down to the ones you saved. Signing up asked four short questions about your country, occupation, years of experience and English level, and you could change the answers later from your profile.

Track your applications on a board

Every company you were interested in could go on an applications board, with columns running from Wishlist and Applying through Interviewing, Offer and Permit Process to Hired, plus Declined and Rejected. You moved each card as things progressed and kept notes on it. This board is where today's application tracker in your workspace started.

A profile page for every company

Each company got its own page with a readable address, showing its permit history as a chart, a short description drawn from the company's own website, and a button to add it to your applications board.

Companies by city and industry

We added pages that list the companies with permit history in a given city or industry, such as Dublin. You can reach them from the visa sponsorship hub.

Smaller things

  • Companies that appeared in the permit files under slightly different names were merged into one profile.
  • When we were unsure a website really belonged to a company, we started hiding its links and showing a note.
  • Images across the site moved to lighter formats.
