Financial Controller – Dublin 2.

TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in Dublin 2, is hiring an Financial Controller to join their business. The Role Your role will be to manage day-to-day financial operations and lead the Finance Team. Along with leading the finance team, you will lead the month-end process, provide timely financial analysis and commentary on company performance, liaise with auditor’s and manage year end statutory reporting and tax compliance. You will also be heavily involved in the commercial and operational aspects of the business, heading up the annual budgeting process while implementing best practice cost control measures across the business and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders within the business. The Financial Controller will play a key role in negotiating contracts with vendors and customers to ensure favourable terms for the company. This role requires strong skills in stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and financial analysis. Skills Required

• Accountancy qualification, ACCA, ACA, CIMA.
• 6+ years post qualification experience.
• High level of proficiency with Sage, IT / ERP systems and M/S Excel, Word.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, influencing, motivation and technical accounting skills.
• Experience in a range of best in class finance disciplines including e.g. systems change, best practice reporting etc.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management experience.
• Strategically and commercially aware.
• Highly organised, self-motivated with strong attention to detail and professional curiosity.
• Able to analyse and interpret both financial and non-financial data.
• Experienced in systems implementation, process improvement and continuous improvement.
• Ability to take ownership and act autonomously, while also adopting a collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written and comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation in particular senior management.
• Strong emotional intelligence in engaging with others.

Interviews will take place onsite in Dublin 2, candidates should be available to attend face to face interviews.
