Industrial Electrician.

An established engineering and automation company is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join its growing team in Kilkenny. Working across the food and beverage, life sciences and industrial manufacturing sectors, the successful candidate will support electrical installation projects both in-house and on customer sites throughout Ireland.This role offers exposure to a wide range of industrial projects including automation systems, process equipment, production facilities and factory upgrades. Travel and overnight stays will form part of the role.Responsibilities• Carry out industrial electrical installations at workshop and customer site locations• Install cable containment systems including tray, ladder, conduit, trunking and basket systems• Gland, terminate and test power, control and instrumentation cabling• Install motors, control panels, distribution boards, sensors, field devices and associated equipment• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules and layout drawings• Support commissioning, testing, inspection and project handover activities• Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting on industrial electrical systems• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, permit systems and site requirements• Liaise with project managers, engineers, customers and other trades throughout project deliveryRequirements• Qualified Electrician holding a National Craft Certificate or equivalent trade qualification• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial electrical installation environments• Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, food and beverage, medical device or similar facilities• Strong ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and cable schedules• Experience with electrical testing, commissioning support and fault finding activities• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required for project deliveryWhy Apply with Sonas?• Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutions • Market Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offer • Direct Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managers • Seamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews and negotiations To apply, send your CV to [email protected] or apply via Indeed.
